This week's Teaser Tuesday comes from Artist Arthur. The book is Manifest and it comes out on August 1, 2010. I am reading the ARC through Net Galley so the page numbers are likely to be different.
Goose bumps still prickle the bare skin on my arms. In the pit of my stomach it feels like butterflies are dancing around.
I rest my forehead on the door, afraid to turn around, afraid not to. He's here, the boy. I know he is even though he's not calling my name or begging me to help him. pg 18
