This week's Teaser Tuesday comes from Ascendant by Diana Peterfreund. It is the sequel to Rampant. This is an ARC so the page number may be different in the book when it releases on September 28, 2010.

Oooh great teaser. I haven't read Rampant yet, but have heard great things about it. Guess I'll have to read that before tackling Ascendant when it comes out.
