Teaser Tuesday: Lies Beneath
Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading!
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
-Grab your current read
-Open to a random page
-Share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers!
This week's Teaser Tuesday comes from Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown.
The girls erupted into squeals of laughter that made me wince. I was on board when it came to the end result we all desired, but I still couldn't embrace their methods. Sure, I fantasized about killing Hancock, but it wasn't in me to prolong the torture. Particularly if he knew nothing about his father's promise. pg. 27 of NetGalley ARC.
I'm only on the fifth chapter but I have to say that this one has hooked me already. It hooked me from the very first chapter and I LOVE it when a book does that. Leave me a link to your teasers, I'd love to check them out! :)
